More about Menstrual Hygiene Day
Menstrual Hygiene Day (May 28) was started by WASH United in 2014 and seeks to unite non-profits, government agencies, individuals, the private sector and the media around the issue of menstrual hygiene management (MHM) for people with periods around the world. The lack of awareness, resources, and infrastructure for adequate menstrual hygiene management in many countries around the world is a menstrual equity issue.”
